We don't know the future but we do know that God is in our future.  God is our past, present, and future.  He informs the length and breadth our lives as we live out the purposes He placed in us from birth.  Our relationship with God is dynamic and incredibly meaningful in every step we take.  A relationship of intentional footsteps.  And as we walk together with our Lord and Savior and surrender and cooperate with the Holy Spirit we share in a godly endeavor that reverberates into the future.  We can continue forward into the future with assurance, knowing He is there also with the same great love and grace He's always given yesterday, today, and forever.
