We are all very special in God's eyes.  And our unique set of gifts and talents, background and potential, strengths and weaknesses collectively come together as a powerful body because we work together.  In the body of Christ we are commissioned to work together for the glory of God. To lift each other up and to be considerate with each other.

Putting God first brings strength and inspiration to my daily life.  When I see God in my circumstances my perspective and outlook are elevated.  To put God first in our lives we seek him daily.  We seek him through prayer, Bible reading, fellowship with other believers and much more.

 I love that the Daniel Fast encourages godliness in our lives but we should never think our sense of godliness is better than another's sense of godliness.  Justification and sanctification is done in the heart through faith alone. 

No amount of work or doing the "right thing" makes us receive salvation.  Salvation is a free gift given to us through faith in Jesus Christ and His redemptive work on the cross.  God's undeserved favor.
