Happy day 15 of the Daniel Fast everyone. 🫐🍎🍇🍌🥦🥬🥑🍠🥔

This time of fasting is also a time of healing.  The foods we are eating are healing foods rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, fuel for cells, and immune support.  During this time we have also made a conscious commitment to eliminate foods that are damaging to our bodies such as added sugar and processed foods.  We are consuming food as it was intended by God as nourishment and medicine. 

God has blessed us with spiritual food and physical food, and the Daniel Fast combines this message in such a great way.  Our spiritual food is the bread of life Jesus Christ and our relationship with Him. Just as we would become weak and deficient from lack of sustenance from food, we indeed would become spiritually weak and lacking from not feeding on God's Word and letting it transform our minds.  And just as our cells renew and replace damaged cells in a manner of healing, we too are spiritually renewed day by day in Christ as His mercies are new every morning. 

A Reminder:  Making the decision to retreat into dedicated time with God to focus, commit, prepare, and grow is healing as we gain renewed strength for our journey.  God says we can call upon Him, and pray to Him and He will hear us. And we will find Him when we seek Him with all our hearts.  The very process of seeking God is healing and the potential for healing is fully with God.  He heals us from brokenness, shame, hurt, pain, and many ailments. We are sinners saved grace. And we are made perfect and healed only by the blood of Jesus Christ which God has granted.
