Happy day 17 of the Daniel Fast everyone. 🫐🍎🍇🍌🥦🥬🥑🍠🥔

The Lord God is our refuge and our place of safety.  He covers us.  He hides us and protects us from evil.  He mercifully delivers us in time of need and in time of trouble. And He guides us on our path with the Spirit of Truth.  God’s plan for us is safe and true.

The feeling of safety can be elusive at times. Uncertainty, tragedy, and the evil that takes shape in the world can overshadow our feelings of comfort, safety, and protection.  This causes doubt and confusion which causes fear.  God does not want us to be double minded in our trust of Him.  He wants us to be unwavering- to know and understand that we are safe in His steadfast love for us.  God calls us to be faithful in our belief knowing that all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose.  

A Reminder:  God is our safe place that we can always turn to if we forget.  He is always there.  He keeps us safe within our family and friendships, in our career and aspirations, in our finances, in our physical, mental, and social health and overall wellbeing, in our life routines and responsibilities. He goes before us. Always before us. And He has raised us up to know the safety of His presence.
