“Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.” Hebrews 10:24 NLT
Happy day 2 of the Daniel Fast: 🫐🍎🍌🍇🥕🥬🥦🥑🍠🥔. A reminder to stay hydrated!
Since water is the only beverage on the Daniel Fast, in the stricter sense of the fast (some people still have juices), this is a good opportunity to get in the habit of drinking more water. That is if you typically don’t get in enough water in your regular diet.
Water: Helps you remove waste from your body through urination, stool, and perspiration. Aids in digestion. Regulates body temperature. Helps protect delicate tissues in your body. Lubricates and cushions joints. Etc.
Water intake recommendations varies depending on certain factors like activity level, body weight, diet quality, and life stage, but the typical recommendation is about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day for men and About 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids a day for women.
We are getting a lot of hydrating fluids from all the fruits and vegetable we are eating on the Daniel Fast so that helps us a lot to stay hydrated during the fast. But for some of us who typically don’t eat as much fruits and vegetables it is a good time to get accustomed to enjoy drinking water.
Stay hydrated physically and spiritually: God has provided us with all good things to help us in this life to navigate our heart, soul, and mind to reconciliation with him. The living water God provides though Jesus provides us with water from which we will never thirst again. His living water flow’s in spirit and in truth through your relationship with Him. God bless you all during this time of increasing in health and faith! ❤️🙏
