Before the new year I brought a Jewish calander to help me know when the feast days are. Well I was brousing through it I noticed this fast day. (Fast of Ten Tevet). So I said to my self well january is coming up and God seems to be giving me sign after sign he wants me fast so why not do some research and maybe participate. Not long after I planned this out I believe God led me to this forum. It seems he didn't just want me fasting from Dawn to dusk on this day as they do, he wanted me to literally do 10 ten days IE "another Daniel fast" So I said ok God I will prove you both! So it has now started for me 03/01/2023 Dusk till dawn. The jews don't drink water but I think that is un wise so I will be drinking lots of water just no pulse until dusk.

Amen for this Holy Spirit led set of circumstances that brought you to fasting during this time! God speaks so clearly when we are in harmony with Him. Drawing nearer is learning more about who He is and we certainly are learning more about our God through His divine guidance through our brothers and sisters. I'm grateful to be learning about this Fast of Ten Tevet as I'm interested in learning more about the feast days too. This history is very precious.
