So as my fast draws near to an end this video has helped me reflect on how much I have failed each day in my approach to what this is truly all about. That isn't necessarily a bad thing. It has helped me for next time to keep things simpler. For example in my meal plan maybe just stick to a few foods and do more planning what I will eat. I may do the 21 day in nisan, I havn't thought that far ahead yet, it depends if I get led to it. I think this 10 day has been a great start to the year though 🙂

For those on the 21 day who have many more days to go, may God continue to bless you each day in wisdom and prosperity. I have certainly learnt a few things in the space of ten days. It has certainly led me to do more fasting in general as gluttony is a problem with me. So more water only fasts are necessary I think.

Peace and blessings,

Aidan

I just got to watch this video today. Amen! I really it appreciate all the great points 🙏.  As she says in the video, the Daniel Fast is not about the food it's about entering into a personal retreat with God. Love it!

I'm glad you have finished your fast with great lessons an insight for next time. Yes, sticking to a few foods is what works for me.  And the dishes I plan for dinner usually last 2-3 days.

Even though I have done the fast for several years I'm still learning. And it's a great process of finding new and deeper ways to approach the fast.

Thank you for all you have shared on your journey.
